Recently, Warman Golf Club has announced a new 18-hole facility, opening for the 2010 season. The Legends Golf and Country Club will be accompanied with 3 phases of housing lining the west side of the golf course. As we move closer to the opening date, the Legends will be an exciting 7300 yard expansion to the ever growing Town of Warman.
Adult Drop-In Group Lessons
New to the Warman Golf Club, Drop-In Group Lessonsallow you to decide how much or how little you practice. Choose any of the following sessions or sign up for all 4 sessions to jump start your golf game.
$25 per session or all 4 for $90.
Thursday, May 14th – 6:00 – 7:30pm (Beginner)
A detailed introduction to the basics of the golf swing.Participants will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the grip, stance, and posture.As the students become more comfortable with the basic fundamentals, key swing ideas will be introduced to allow the student to create a relaxed, controlled golf swing.
Thursday, May 21st – 6:00 – 7:30pm (Intermediate - Advanced)
An in-depth look which places more of an emphasis on correcting any faults throughout your golf swing. Students will be encourage to share their past experiences, faults and any information that would help the group become better at their own game. This session is geared towards more experienced golfers who feel their game could use a quick tune up for the new golf season.
Thursday, May 28th – 6:00 – 7:30pm (Short Game)
An area that all golfers could become more effective, this short game session will include putting, chipping and bunker play. Students will be introduced to the many key shots that will help lower scores and create increased confidence over even the shortest of putts. This session is both for the beginner to the advanced and will be based solely around the practice green.
Thursday, June 4th – 6:00 – 7:30pm (On-Course )
As the game of golf is played on a golf course, no better place to learn than from a CPGA instructor while playing 3 challenging holes. As a group, all students will have a chance to ask any questions involving game management, rule decisions and proper golf etiquette. Emphasis will be placed on creating a suitable pre-shot routine and allow students to hit a variety of golf shots.
